My name is Montana Rose.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself...

When I was four years old, I watched The Sound of Music for the very first time. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to be a performer (a "singing actress", according to my younger self). I'm twenty-one years old now and have never once been dissuaded from that path.

In fact, I am lucky enough to be growing as both a singer and an actor, currently double majoring in music and theatre at Citrus College in Glendora, CA. I have performed in over twenty-five stage productions (and counting), two short films, a pop/rock cover band, directed an exerpt of Biloxi Blues, and written my first original song. 

I have also begun teaching private voice lessons at Bella Music Studios in Covina, CA, the same place where I received my first vocal training and was a part of a fantastic troupe. I adore my job. It's still a bit new, and I'm not perfect, but I love my small group of students and am always so proud to hear how much they have improved. I love the feeling that I'm helping someone pursue something they love, and that beats a boring, normal part-time job any day. 

Believe it or not though, performing isn't my only passion. I love to read and write and draw, and I'm a huge nerd when it comes to film and television. Especially things like Harry Potter (don't even get me started), BBC's Sherlock (seriously, don't get me started - I named my dog after the titular character), Doctor Who, and tons more. I'm always looking for superfans to chat with, so don't be shy to shoot me a message just to say you love Sherlock too. We can cry over the hiatus together. It'll be fun!
